A path shaped by eight years in corporate consulting, a growing interest in the human side of change, and the belief that how we relate to ourselves and each other influences what becomes possible.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE.
HUMAN CURIOSITY.

Hi, I'm Julia.

I've always been curious about what happens beneath the surface.

Why do some people thrive in certain situations while others feel stuck? What shapes the way we respond to challenges, relate to one another, or repeat patterns even when we know another way might be possible?

Over the years, these questions have shaped both my professional journey and the way I see the world. I've become increasingly interested in looking beyond the immediate problem to understand the people, relationships and dynamics involved — and in exploring what becomes possible when we begin to see things differently.

From business into the human side of change

I spent eight years working in corporate consulting and project environments, learning how organizations operate, how change unfolds, and what it takes to move complex initiatives forward.

Over time, I became increasingly interested in the human side of that work. Behind every strategy, restructuring or new leadership role are people navigating expectations, uncertainty, relationships and change.

I wanted to understand not only what happens in organizations, but what shapes how people experience and respond to it.

That curiosity led me towards coaching, systemic work and facilitation. Today, I bring these perspectives together with my business experience to support leaders, teams and individuals navigating change.

I believe people are more than the role they play

A leader is more than a leadership role.

A team is more than a collection of job descriptions.

And as individuals, we are more than the problems we're trying to solve.

Our experiences, beliefs, relationships and the patterns we've learned along the way all shape how we see the world and respond to it. Sometimes these patterns support us. Sometimes they keep us stuck in ways we don't fully understand.

I'm interested in creating space to explore these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. Not to label or fix people, but to understand what's shaping a situation and discover new perspectives and possibilities.

Because when we begin to see ourselves and others differently, we create more room for choice — and for something to change.

How I work

I'm curious about people, but I also value practicality.

I listen, ask questions, notice connections and patterns, and offer new perspectives when they might be useful.

Sometimes, talking something through helps us find clarity. At other times, stepping back to explore a situation systemically or experiencing it from a different perspective can open up new possibilities.

I draw on coaching, systemic thinking, facilitation and experiential approaches, choosing what fits the person, team or situation rather than following a fixed method.

The work follows what is alive and relevant.

For me, reflection is not an end in itself. It's about creating the awareness and understanding that can lead to a different conversation, a clearer decision, a shift in how we relate to one another, or a more conscious next step.

Why Root2Unfold?

I chose the name Root2Unfold because it reflects something I deeply believe about personal and professional growth.

We often want to unfold what comes next: make a decision, find a solution, step into a new role or begin a new chapter. We want clarity, movement and change.

But sometimes, moving forward asks us to pause and understand our roots first.

  • What has shaped us?

  • Which beliefs do we carry?

  • What patterns have we learned, and how do our experiences and relationships influence the way we see ourselves, others and the situations we find ourselves in?

Exploring these roots isn't about staying in the past or endlessly analysing ourselves. It's about understanding what brought us here, recognising what still serves us and becoming aware of what might be holding us back.

From that place, we can move forward with greater clarity, freedom and choice — not by following someone else's idea of who we should become, but by finding a way forward that feels more genuinely our own.

For me, that's what Root2Unfold is about:

creating space to understand what lies beneath the surface, reconnect with what matters and unfold what comes next.

And a little more about me...

Beyond my work, I'm simply someone who is curious about people, their stories and the different ways we experience the world.

I love meaningful conversations, exploring new perspectives and those moments when something suddenly clicks — when we see a familiar situation differently, understand something that had been difficult to put into words, or discover a possibility we hadn't considered before.

I also need space to slow down and reconnect with myself. Time in nature, quiet moments and stepping away from the noise of everyday life help me find perspective and remember what matters to me.

Perhaps that's one reason I value creating this kind of space for others, too: a space where we don't have to perform, have everything figured out or immediately find an answer. Sometimes, there's value simply in being curious about what's happening and allowing something new to emerge.

I don't have all the answers, and I don't believe I need to. I see my role as walking alongside people, bringing curiosity, experience, questions and a different perspective when it might be useful.

Today, my work brings together the worlds that have shaped me: an understanding of organizations and the realities of working life, alongside a deep interest in people, relationships and personal growth.

It's where I feel most at home — working with people who are navigating a transition, questioning something that no longer feels right, or exploring what might become possible next.

If something here resonates...

You don't need to have the perfect question or know exactly what you're looking for.

If something in your life, work or relationships is asking for attention, I'd be happy to hear from you.
